A Native born Hawaiian from the island of Maui originally, her family moved here in 1974 where they were restaurant business owners. "I remember like yesterday watching my parents run a business since i was 6 years old, that was the best training i'd ever received on how to effectively run a business without being told in so many words. Fast forward to the future, my experiences in the corporate world left my spirit depraved. I wanted to do something which could help others and at the same time feed my entrepreneurial spirit. I became a independent skincare sales consultant for "Mary Kay Cosmetics" and my love for skincare and cosmetics began! I wanted to know what made all these women so beautiful later in their life. Becoming an esthetician was the only way I could get behind the science of this fabulous industry that i love and at the same time remain at the forefront to truly help people with their skin concerns."
Sandy became a California State Board Licensed Esthetician in 2009 and owns "Kawehi Skin & Body". Her favorite specialties & focus are Chemical Peels and teen skin care. "Educating our teens is so crucial to how they will treat their skin in their future, & also that most damage is done before we're 18, i wish someone would have told me then."
She is certified in PCA Peels, Microcurrent, Microdermabrasion, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, & in advanced skin treatment technologies with Peels through PCA. She is also a TNT agency certified Make-up Artist for traditional and airbrush makeup techniques for Bridal and special events.
